Sculptra works by helping to restore volume in the cheeks, temples, and other areas of the face to stimulate new collagen growth. Collagen is the structural network of the skin. Boosting collagen growth helps to naturally reverse the signs of aging to give you a long-lasting improvement in your appearance.

As we age, we lose the collagen support in our tissue which leads to wrinkles, volume loss, and sagging. Sculptra is injected into the deep layers of tissue in the skin, triggering a mild inflammatory reaction that stimulates the body’s natural healing process, the generation of new collagen. Over time, the collagen produced results in smoother, fuller, younger-looking skin.

Procedure & Recovery

Sculptra is injected in the lateral areas of the face to produce an overall improvement in the appearance of the cheeks and temples. Before treatment, your injector will apply a topical anesthetic to reduce any inflammation. Most people need at least three sessions over the course of several months to achieve results, but everyone is different! We will work with you to determine your goals and tailor the treatment plan to your needs.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers (like Juvederm or Restylane) which are injected directly to the "trouble spots," Sculptra is injected evenly throughout the treatment area. After your Sculptra treatment, you can return to your normal activities. There may be some mild swelling or redness for the first few days. Your results will start to appear over several weeks as new collagen is created in the skin. Results from Sculptra can last up to 2 years, but individual results may vary.

How Much Does Sculptra Cost?
